thursday night dinner

We decided to get a little more adventurous with our grilling Thursday and tried grilled pizza and steaks. We used tomatoes, sweet peppers and basil from our garden and added a bit of white asparagus and ricotta. The pizzas themselves were delicious and light with just ricotta, olive oil and lemon with the veggies.

We learned a lot from this experience and lost a little bit of crust through the grates. In the end we had a great dinner and we have a game plan for our next pizza grilling night. One tip…. do not make your crust too thin and make sure you know what side of the grill is heated or you will end up with gummy stringy dough!
